We have enhanced our Appraisal Service in response to COVID-19 by implementing the following, to ensure your facility personnel’s safety:
- Conducting inspections on weekends or other off shifts
- Wearing masks or other required safety equipment while on premises
- Utilizing technology to help maintain social distancing throughout the on-site process
Valu Tec appraises real property owned or leased by the client. The appraisal is then compared to the ad valorem assessment of the subject property. When the property is over-assessed, Valu Tec will either work informally with the assessor to set a fair and equitable assessment, or conduct a formal appeal of the tax assessment to the property taxing authority. Where appropriate, Valu Tec can also file for refunds of overpaid real estate taxes, and/or request corrections to the assessor’s property record cards. Real property tax assessments are reviewed annually and updated as needed.
